A receipt is yours until you share it. Joining a space changes nothing about what is already in your list.
Photograph a receipt and put your wallet away. Mafin reads the merchant, the date and every line item, files it, and tells you what the month adds up to.

What Mafin does
The upload, the reading and the filing happen in the background while you put your wallet away. Paper receipts, PDFs and screenshots all go in the same way.
Not just the total — each item, the tax and the tip, so a lunch or a grocery run can be opened up and checked line by line. Anything the reader gets wrong, you edit.
A month or a year at a glance: the split by category and by merchant, the trend against the months before it, and the receipts behind any number you tap.
Set a monthly and a yearly budget and Mafin tracks against them, with a weekly or monthly summary so nothing creeps up on you. Any period exports to Excel.
Create a space for the household or for the business, invite people by link or QR code, and decide what each of them can see and do — with an access period if it is only for a trip or a project.
Sharing is per receipt and off by default: joining a space changes nothing about what is already in your own list.
What did groceries cost this summer? Am I over budget? The numbers are computed from your own receipts before the assistant writes a word, so the answer is your data in a sentence — not a guess.
Every conversation is kept, and you can see exactly what gets sent before it goes.
A receipt in another currency is converted at the rate for that day and kept with both numbers — what the shop charged and what it cost you.
Card fees can be recorded on the receipt too, so the total matches your statement.
Scan as a guest straight after installing. When you sign in, everything you scanned comes with you.
No passwords. A six-digit code to your email, or Sign in with Apple — on the phone and here on the web.
Delete your account from inside the app and everything goes with it: receipts, images, settings and spaces.

Face ID or a passcode on re-entry, and amounts can be hidden with a tap when someone is reading over your shoulder.
Export any period to Excel, keep the original image of every receipt, and delete the whole account in one action.
